@Sharonbw Squirrels are so much fun to watch. Our most athletic squirrel has not been around for a long time. The others try and fail or even chicken out before trying the jump to the feeder. It is hilarious to watch them debate whether to attempt it.

@joyce I hope your recovery is on the shorter end of that timespan. Do you dive into the next book while waiting for your beta reader?

#Today is the first Mother's Day since my mom died three months ago. Not being a mother myself (unless dogs count) I don't have anything to celebrate except other women who still make the sacrifices it takes to raise children. Thank you.

@Sharonbw Good for your hubby for cooking dinner. It's too bad your kids can't be with you. Like you, it's just me making my own day. However, I don't trust hubby with dinner. Lunch maybe. My daughter is working an early shift in California and I've heard from her. I hope to hear from the grands as they progress through their busy days with the littles.

@PetraPhoenix It's the first game / sport I've ever participated in (and I'm 70) so I had no ball throwing form at all when I started about 4 years ago. I found my local club to be incredibly welcoming and supportive. They are inclusive and welcome everyone. My strong impression is that unless you get to play at national or international level then everyone is friendly regardless of ability.
