Last night's celebration of C's birthday was fun.

Last night's celebration of C's birthday was fun. We all ate too much, which I think is a requirement. I made the mistake of ordering an ice cream cake, requested by the birthday girl, much larger than we needed. Despite sending home as much as my daughter's freezer would hold, I am left with a sizeable amount in my freezer. Oh darn.
Today I have nowhere to go today so I can spend my #SlackerdaySaturday however I please. It's a good start to the weekend. I hope yours is as well.

It really was an honest mistake. I underestimated how large it turned out to be. Still, it kind of worked out.

Actually, we got it from our favorite local ice cream store. Very rich chocolate and vanilla layers, with whipped cream and hershey kiss decoration on top.
