Good morning + happy #SofaSunday to all. I hope all moms have a chance to spend some time with their feet up, enjoying some peace and quiet today. (Actually that is my wish for everyone, but if it's possible, tell your mom you appreciate her.)
I'm going to enjoy the gorgeous weather. If yesterday's rain doesn't produce too many mosquitos I'm going to plant zinnia seeds in a small patch out back. If bugs are too bothersome, I'll keep the cats company on the screened porch.

Enjoy your Mother's Day! I hope the mosquitos aren't bad and you can do your gardening, and that you can have some ice cream cake and do whatever you please.

My kids who live close by are both working and the other is in TX, but that's OK. I'm just going to enjoy doing what I want and my husband will cook dinner.

@Sharonbw Good for your hubby for cooking dinner. It's too bad your kids can't be with you. Like you, it's just me making my own day. However, I don't trust hubby with dinner. Lunch maybe.
My daughter is working an early shift in California and I've heard from her. I hope to hear from the grands as they progress through their busy days with the littles.
