@elaterite When I first tried a Cosmic Crisp I thought it was a bit underwhelming, butI've always kind of been a "different apples for different things" person, and to me Cosmic Crisps are fine in the role I normally assign to Fujis, which is basically "dessert apple" or "pair with something tart." I still prefer Fujis, but needs must. If I want a tart apple or a cooking apple, I go straight for Granny Smith or Pink Lady. Weirdly, I've never lliked HoneyCrisp: there's something about its tartness that is artificial-chemical-ish to me. Cosmic Crisp seems to have lost whatever does that for me.

@chris Not in the past year.About 12 years ago, when I was driving on the M20 in Montréal’s suburbs, one hit my windshield underneath the mirror (outside driver’s view). Past, now annulled: major depressive disorder without psychosis, demanding personality disorder, depressive personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and unspecified identity disorder. And then a few that I almost got diagnosed with but was like one trait short.

@macberg Computer, but I often will then queue up videos into my Watch Later and binge them on my TV.Just wish the YouTube app on tvOS would remember that I want closed captions on. Always have to turn them back on every time I open the app.

@mariyadelano mine coincides with a holiday non-relevant for most people around. So even if I’m bringing cake and people are asking what we’re celebrating, I always just name that holiday, with the most “it’s obvious, isn’t it?” face possible.

Also known as the antithesis of healthy, balanced, mature eating, but also way more enjoyable in specific settings (ballgames, costco, times square from a cart, bbq).

@pabloniusmonk no mesh, I’ve got an Archer BE9300 WiFi router, and I have another wireless access point wired in at the other end of the house.There was some config work I had to do to the AT&T thing to make it just pass through. I forget what I did. I did a lot of Reddit searches to figure it out.
