@nuwagaba2 you’re growing potatoes in the tropics? i grew up in Puerto Rico, and we grow our indigenous batata, yuca, and yautía with adapted ñame and malanga but, as far as i know, we can’t grow andean patatas. what kind of potato is that?i would have never thought of growing potatoes next to plátanos and guineos.

@SnowyCA @EdwinG I'm guessing but it seems to me that most of what Amazon 'sells' is actually sold by a third party and just fulfilled by Amazon (I haven't ordered anything off amazon in a full year, so I could be wrong); they then use this as cover to avoid responsibility for what is sold on their site.The solution is to start holding companies that facilitate the actions of others accountable if they reasonably should have been aware of the action taking place. So Amazon would be criminally liable for anything sold on their site since they should know what is being sold (it's not like DHL for example who might only know what a shipper says is in the package and not it's true contents).The tech-bro oligarchs rely on not being held accountable for the actions of the users on the platforms that make them rich. Take away that immunity and they either need to clean up their platforms or get shut down.

@OohOkayKay I have gone the way of silk flowers for outside decor and solar lights .. only thing is too have a couple of hanging baskets for the bees of the real ones .. I either leave out year round or take and wash and store for next year's. Lahey can last about 3-4 depending on care .. Have been too sick and the flowers are all over the house ...

Peach muffins Not the success I’d hoped. They were impossible to get out of the paper without destroying them, and I wanted to decorate them with vegan whipped cream, so I followed the recipe in Miyoko Schinner’s book, but it just ended up liquid and not at all whipable.
