When did you last use your mobile phone as a flashlight?

@evan How about never? Lol! The joke in that is that I'm a blind dude.
-
@evan I use it as a flashlight about once a month, I'd say. I also note that I (almost) never use that "flash" when taking pictures, even tho AFAIK that was its original purpose (and in the rare cases where i use it to take a picture, I want to turn it on/off manually before/after taking the picture rather than it being flashed in-sync with the camera)
-
@evan Never, I have 2 torches for that sort of thing. ( well 3 torches if i could find the missing one)
-
@evan By purpose or by mistake? Answer may depend on that...

I use my phone as a flashlight multiple times a day.
Recently got a new phone which lacks the same gesture to turn on the flash light & bums me out every time.
Had a Motorola phone, you shake the phone from its side 2x in a chop-chop motion to turn it on & off. (Should be standard on all phones)
Now I'm back to a single tap to wake screen, pull down menu on lock screen & tap the flashlight option.

@evan at a sporting event in a stadium. But I wasn't using it to see...maybe I was using the flashlight function more like a lighter.

@evan Under my car at night earlier this week, looking for rust on the pinch welds.
