For those with a diagnosis of ME/CFS, what was your next steps with a neurologist? I had one that diagnosed me and requested some basic brain imaging that was fairly unremarkable, but then dropped my insurance. I'm about to engage with a new neurologist and wondered what I might suggest for continued discovery/treatment?#MECFS #Neurology

Das einzige Pflegeheim, das bisher zugesagt hat, ist in Lübeck. Das wären für seine Mutter dreieinhalb Stunden Zugfahrt, um ihn überhaupt zu besuchen. Bitte helft mit, indem ihr diesen Beitrag teilt. Vermutlich haben sich die Ärzte früher mehr gefreut, wenn ich gekommen bin. Ab und zu mal ins Blut sehen, ein bisschen Salbe für den umgeknickten Knöchel oder mal schauen, ob ich Grippe oder nur Schnupfen habe. Heute ist er wohl genauso frustriert wie ich. Weil, da kann man nichts machen. Weiter geht es im Alltag mit #mecfs

@tomkindlon @mecfs Would once again like to reiterate how much I LOATHE these questions.I do not get "mentally tired after the slightest effort".I get "flu-like symptoms two to three days after exceeding my cognitive activity threshold". Sometimes that threshold is actual tiny effort like "I read three posts on my support group" but sometimes it's "read a book on my phone for more than 45 minutes" or "reviewed a technical paper" or "programmed for 15 minutes" or "programmed for an hour".Unless you're going to define "the slightest effort" and "mentally tired" you will be completely incapable of differentiating between "I can't spend an hour responding to email without getting tired so I said yes" and "Cognitive exertion doesn't make me mentally tired so I said no even though my current threshold for avoiding flu-like symptoms is 15 minutes of texting."Grrr.
