    I work in a boutique. A male customer wanted us to gift wrap a scarf and lingerie separately, with cards addressed to different women's names. Nothing new to us. But he'd parked a Tesla, so just before sealing up the boxes I switched the two cards. Serve him right.

        @fesshole My thought is I really, really hope this was cheating and not "one for a mother he is dating, and one for her daughter".

          @fesshole Because no men EVER can be friends with a woman he'd gift a scarf to. Or have daughters for that matter. And even if it were two sets of lingeries making the assumption this person had actually sensible it would still be a stupid move.

          This is just purposefully bad service based on prejudices. Almost worse is that it's basically a woman's privilege to even say all of this since any man doing so would immediately be targeted with hate and wild assumptions themselves. What a shitshow.

            @Natanox @fesshole "Daughters"? One of whom is getting lingerie?

            Maybe OP knows their customers better than anything here.

              @starluna @Natanox @fesshole The idea here is that the scarf may have been for his daughter.

                    @fesshole

                    "Oh no! What if this is for his wife and daughter"

                    Then they would simply exchange their gifts. And probably laugh.

                    Duh.
