@benh it is called "Slopilot". If you think hard enough on how to say it (is it "Slo-pilot" or "Slop-ilot"?) you might be able to forget the fossilized poop one.

One day, Slopalot will be the Monty Python musical about how this technology set the world on fire. Literally. The world is burning already. Stop that. Stop it right now.

@graste My favorite part is that Copilot may not work as intended, and is for entertainment purposes only.

@graste @simonzerafa for decades Microsoft famously falls in love with a name or prefix/suffix and re/names *everything* to use it. Remember "Visual" everything? "Active", as in Desktop, X, Server Pages, Directory? Remember the ridiculously un-searchable ".NET"? Forefront for a while in there. Everything was "Core" for a minute. Azure of course. I know I'm missing a few

@graste Microsoft just needs to rename itself Copilot and call it done. They won't, because that would be corporate suicide, but a monkey can dream.

@graste what this also demonstrates is that #Microsoft has waaay too many "products". Maybe they should focus and a few ones and actually make them work properly (😂) rather than aiming for a total monopoly of crap?

@Li @graste such a Microsoft thing to do. Come up with a new brand identity, then slap it on everything until it means nothing.

But if this means we're getting another video of a sweaty Steve Ballmer shouting, "The keeEeEeEeey to copilot is...
👉DEVELOPERS👈" then I'm all for it.

Sir Slopilot, the long-lost cousin of Sir Lancelot, long lost because he fscked up any knightly combat he was involved in. Legend has it that he was resurrected hundreds of years later, with a minor name change, as a Microsoft product that fscked up any application it was involved in.
