Prosecuting the fascists and the collaborators is at the top of my list too. It's the absolute minimum it'll take to get my support in all future Democratic primaries.

And I don't want to hear how we can't do it. We've got the ICC, we've got state courts, we can just create a new anti-fascist Nuremberg style tribunal if we have to.

I'm arguing you don't control that distinction. that we don't see users who are non left but also not bigoted on fedi today and the prevalent norm here you're defending (while saying you're not) is a big part of that.

I asked you what you thought the point of this place was and told you I think it has revolutionary potential to deal with money in our culture and civics. but that would require the masses be here. the too strict norm most embrace here prevents that. so I argue against it and hope that eventually, people agree. others then argue for it too. same with any argument about how things should change and what I think is possible if it does. reasoned persuasion.

everybody being here or anywhere doesn't mean the bad people have power to fuck with us. that's the whole point of decentralization and no algos/ads or democratic government and enforcing laws.

the goal is to get them playing on our fair field, not the one they own. where we don't let the plutocrats have more power or let the bigots abuse anyone. but it has to be fair like that. today fedi is saying hang here till we decide you have bad ideas. then bye.
