Iran’s government is not good, but America has not attacked Iran to liberate the people from its oppressive regime, it has done it purely in its own and Israel’s imperial interests. Remember the US toppled a democratically elected and popular government in Iran in 1953 because it had the temerity to want to use its natural resources for the good of its own people. The US put an autocrat who would play ball with US interests in its place, eventually leading to the Islamist revolution of 1979. The US does not give one tiny shit about the people of Iran.
