If you're now saying, 'well, of course, the Greens policies will now be subject to some proper scrutiny'.... let me suggest you subject Reform UK Ltd to the same rigorous scrutiny, not keep giving them a free pass on their various (and objectionable) policy stances!
But, lets be clear, attacking the Green Party of England & Wales while waving Reform UK Ltd through scrutiny, actually plays to the Greens' analysis of politics.

@ChrisMayLA6 it's just the Greens being proven right again and again. Pointing out the tired playbook of the Oligarchs and their pet politicians, good stuff!

Very well said.
The sad reality is that anything which runs counter to the status quo is not going to be scrutinised so much as pilloried, mocked, associated with dubious accusations and generally defiled in every possible way to prevent reform.
The question is whether it will work this time.

We have a similar problem in Aotearoa NZ. Unlike UK, NZ has a proportional representation system of government similar to the German system - Mixed Member Proportional Representation aka MMP.
The NZ Greens have a strong representation in parliament but have never been in government they have had ‘confidence and supply’ relationships with Labour led governments but have never been able to get roles inside cabinet.
This year there’s another #NZPol general election and the right are getting seriously nervous about the Greens policies and rise in popularity. The #NZMedia continue to either ignore or misrepresent the Greens. However the reality is, like everywhere else, the msm no longer have the power and influence they once had.
I hope 2026 will see Greens form a coalition government with NZ Labour who, it must be said, are far better than Kid Starver and his UK Labour imposters.

The best part though is that most of the media won’t catch onto this. The more these people can be so clueless so as to only point out what’s wrong with the system the better.

@ChrisMayLA6 Reform’s elite backing is their greatest vulnerability and Green’s best opportunity.samecapplies to Labour, sadly.

@ChrisMayLA6 Reform stands for hatred, cruelty and corruption. Their leader has displayed these traits for decades. Farage is out for himself and his own power. You think water, sewage and energy is a disaster now? Wait till Farage rules. The whole country will be a toxic wasteland.
