@finally Aus auto empirischen Studien kann ich mitgeben: Einschlafen im Unterricht wird mit annaehrend 100% entdeckt / bemerkt und ist ebenfalls nicht empfehlenswert. Zumal dann fragen bzgl. der Erziehung folgen koennen: Bekommt das Kind genuegend Schlaf, Stress zu Hause etc. Ich persoenlich gehe lieber mit -> Musik auf einem Ohr, so lange sich beim Unterricht beteiligt wird.

I'm having this issue with every Firefox based browser (Firefox, Floorp, Librewolf, ...)..Whenever I leave the browser open for a few days (for example when I only close the lid on my laptop), it slowly becomes almost unresponsive on heavier sites such as Youtube, especially with more than one YOutube tab open in the background - to the state where a simple pause of seek takes several seconds, sometimes up to maybe 20 - or when the tab is still playing the video even though it was closed seconds ago... etc.. basically, there's a lag with every action on Youtube. The same browser on other pages, working just fine, everything else on the computer is also working just fine.This is how it works on my slower i3-6300 based laptop (my bed companion), it's a bit better with a newer and more powerful hardware, but still visible.. and annoying. It is not a lack of RAM, once it starts to behave like this, I can close those tabs and it still happens even with only one youtube tab open. According to the "top" command, I have plenty of RAM available, with another huge amount only occupied by the cache.And when I restart the browser, even with 20-30 youtube tabs loaded, it works just fine, for a day or two, then it starts to slow down...I am obviously using an adblock, so it crossed my mind that's the reason but honestly, I'm not sure what's more annoying - a slow browser that can be "cured" by a restart or the internet with ads Anyone with the same experience? Wenn du nach Alternativer Software suchst, kann ich dir https://alternativeto.net empfehlen, was ich auch sehr gut finde und schon genutzt habe.Also ich war an einem ähnliches Punkt wie du auch als Windows-Umsteiger gewesen und dachte mir so, dass ein Linux wirklich sehr ähnlich wie Winows sein und aussehen solte, wovon ich jedoch abgekommen bin. Da der Windows-Stil alleine dafür auch nicht ausreicht und andere Dinge wichtiger sind.Weshalb ich auch anfänglich erst ZorinOS ausprobiert habe, womit ich ehrlich gesagt überhaupt nicht damit klar kam.Später habe ich es mit MX Linux versucht, womit ich zwar schon besser klar kam, aber auch noch nicht so richtig gut.Letztendlich bin ich dann bei Manjaro Linux gelandet, was ich schon seit Jahren nutze.Allerdings bin ich damit nach wie auch nicht so ganz zurfrieden, was die Stabilität und Funktionalität angeht.Ich habe hier leider nur alte Hardware, womit das zusammenhängen kann.Jedenfalls habe ich vor von Manjro Linux zu CachyOS zu wechseln, wenn ich es auch genauso nutzen kann, wie Manjaro Linux selbst.Denn CachyOS ist jetzt schon teilweise besser als Manjaro Linux ist, was mir auch gefällt.Jedoch bin ich kein Distro-Hopper, weshalb es bei mir gut überlegt sein muss und wenn ich CachyOS nutzen möchte, muss ich wohl von der XFCE Desktop Umgebung zu KDE Plasma wechseln, weshalb ich es vorerst am testen bin.Ich komme nur mit der Einrichtung von dem KDE Plasama Desktop und dessen Arbeitsfläche klar, weil es voll kompliziert ist im Gegensatz zu XFCE.Das stört mich noch bei CachyOS und weil der XFCE Desktop nicht so funktioniert wie unter Manaro Linux und weil es auch noch keine Benachrichtigungen gibt, sobald neue Updates zur Verfügung stehen.Ansonsten wäre ich auch schon längst zu CachyOS gewechselt, weil unter anderen die Software dort noch aktueller ist, als bei Manjaro Linux der Fall ist.Außerderm ging bisher bei meinen Tests nicht Safing die Portmaster Firwall + DNS.

@cptbutton I've tried funkwhale, but there was no music available from artists I know, since they have to upload the music themselves. You can upload music too, but have to make sure (if you make it public) to not violate copyright law.I think there is no way of streaming that is in the advantage of artist and the best way to do it (in the disadvantage of not having access to all music and spending much money) is to buy complete albums directly from the artists either as CD or as download and store them somewhere central, like NAS, clowd or funkwhale with private upload, from where you can access it from all your clients you want to.
