Dear Representative -

I am against increasing the national debt by $70 billion to fund ICE and CBP for the next 3+ years and I want you to use all the tools at your disposal to fight adoption of the Senate funding resolution for ICE and CBP passed Thursday morning.

The 2025 Republican budget allocated $75 billion over four years to ICE. Just 10 years ago, the ICE annual budget was less than $6 billion.

I am against throwing more money at DHS when they continue to abuse people, deny people their due process, and ignore court orders.

DHS's violent behavior has not stopped -- the news cycle has moved on from reporting it. DHS's denial of basic due process has not stopped -- the news cycle has moved on from reporting it. DHS's flagrant disregarding of court orders has not stopped - the news cycle has moved on from reporting.

I am against DHS's brutal mass deportations. I am against the use of corporate profit-driven prisons to hold people detained by the US government. If the government detains someone, the government has the duty follow due process, to house the people safely in facilities with regular and open inspections, to give them access to lawyers and family members.

You have the power to fix this. Please use every procedural tool at your disposal to deny this enhanced budget to ICE and CBP.
