Usually when a company does that big of a price hike, their customer base isn't growing anymore the way they want.So they have to gouge the users they have. 1Password will learn from this, a painful lesson to be sure.

A price increase of that magnitude tells me 1Password's developers thinks their app is far more essential than it is. There are MANY options for password managers, and that price hike is going to help ensure people seek those options out first. If you use Apple devices, the Passwords App does everything already for free.If you're on Windows, it's always Bitwarden. Never use the password feature built into your browser. I don't care which one it is.

I tried 1Password once or twice over the years, and I wasn't ever impressed. The fact they are jacking up prices by over 30% next month for their users?
