A price increase of that magnitude tells me 1Password's developers thinks their app is far more essential than it is. There are MANY options for password managers, and that price hike is going to help ensure people seek those options out first.
If you use Apple devices, the Passwords App does everything already for free.
If you're on Windows, it's always Bitwarden.
Never use the password feature built into your browser. I don't care which one it is.
