I suppose there is a critical mass effect. Here is another set of parts (the arm rest) that seems to be working out. printers are staying busy.

The design push causes me to pick up on things I wouldn't otherwise notice. Part of the time to make the thing is the pre-cad work, where I figure out what the heck I'm gonna make.

Its about 3am, I need to think for a bit on the next few parts, but, not right now...

@oscherler if I could, I would just get all white and use coloured sharpie pens to code them :]

@sashabilton The 555 just inverts the serial data (side effect) and makes sure the voltages go from 0 to 5 (many of the serial converters output a high of only 3V) The RC magic distinguishes all the times into pulses. The magic is putting software on the sending side that "remodulates" the data

@niconiconi :]I have a silly question. If you poll the emulation, can you get faster performance? Sometimes its faster to poll the low latency part and IRQ the rest.

@TommyTorty10 yes, only particular inks will hold up to the etchant.One is staedtler lumocolor black permanent.The other is black sharpie.anything else is try-first. But the line weight needs to be *just right* which the plotter can do consistently
