Is AI Profitable Yet?@lproven Not sure, my colleagues are paying for the subscription for about a year now. So I would believe that a lot of people in genera are paying directly or indirectly.
For example, if you buy a certain smartphone, you'll get a subscription for a year with one of the AI services. And I'm sure this is at least partially compensated by the manufacturer.
It adds up quickly - just look at the revenue of Netflix, for example.
What does not make too much sense to me is how small openAI is compared to basically anyone else...
