@linguistgoneforeign Those are lovely diaries! I always intend to incorporate ephemera, but often, while I visit someplace new, I'm fully occupied with living in the moment, so that doesn't happen. I reviewed a handful of journals that I kept at random times last week. It's interesting how my current perspectives of those times differ from my perspectives at the time.
