Audre Lorde's "master's tools" speech was not about tech platforms. -
Agents shouldn’t have to figure everything out from scratch.@fay @MozillaAI Kind of glad Servo has a better home now, tbh.

I can't remember who I learned this from but blocking Claude on GitHub gives this handy warning for projects to avoid.@joeress Recommend also adding QwenCoder to your blocks.
Also, this repo.

I'm in the process of learning German.I'm in the process of learning German. I wanted desktop client for translating text as just another way to explore the language.
I have Dialect installed on my machine and am using Lingva as the translation backend.
I also downloaded Speech Note and used the firefox translation model it provides as the backend.
I wanted to comparable the translations were for something I know. I went with
"Is it spicy?" Based on my limited knowledge I expected that to be. "Ist es scharf?"
Dialect returns "Ist es scharf?"
Speech Note returned "Ist es würzig?"
Doing a little research it seems that würzig is more intended to be savory but might also be meant to describe a blend of herbs & spices.
Questions for my instructor when class starts back up, I guess.

"AI" skills are basically just documentation and it says something about how documentation only gets resources and respect if it is framed as "technology".@tante This is something that has been driving me insane. For my entire career getting people to write some documentation about what is going on and now the industry is spending all its time writing markdown??
Real monkey's paw wish granted there for me.

I’ve been asked on TV hits and interviews lately to explain why decentralized social media is better, especially re: Mastodon.@taylorlorenz You can meaningfully have a say in content moderation policies.
Reporting bad actors usually leads to a more pro-social outcome.
I think there are many but that feels important.
