@joeress unfortunately avoiding this banner is only going to get more unfeasible as it keeps popping up on more and more "essential" projects (recent examples being systemd, vim)

@joeress the only downside is that not everyone marks their commits this way.
(on the one hand, i think it’s idiotic: claude is a tool, not a coauthor. and on the other i’m glad when people mark themselves out this way to be avoided.)

True, but sometimes good projects are effected by one or two bad commits where AI was used for something like translation. -

@benjamineskola Claude does this by default, as far as I know. You have to take extra steps to have it not marked.

@davidculley If you allow Claude to make the commits itself, yeah — I believe not evreyone does, though.
