Saw one, or rather at least two, of those limited 1975 edition #brompton bikes in my LBS and they're just as hideous in real life as they appear online.@pete Never tried one - they don’t look all that comfortable. Saw one, or rather at least two, of those limited 1975 edition #brompton bikes in my LBS and they're just as hideous in real life as they appear online.@pete We had a friend visiting who brought an electric Brompton with him and I thought he’d struggle on the hilly rural road ride we went on but he was fine. Might be tempted if I had the cash but have never liked the look of them. The electric version is pretty heavy so not incredibly portable but nice to have something you can put in the car boot

Here in SE England, winter drags on, almost constantly grey gloom and rain.@HederaVulpes Chaffinch singing here, Song Thrush for a few weeks now. Blackbird lyrics continuing later each day. Not heard a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming on our electric pole yet, but perhaps I’m deafer than I was last year
