The fact that they're gathering dust in bike shops has me think that maybe they're not the draw Brompton thought they might be. 'tis a shame, as they do make some nice and fun limited editions. #cycling #BikeTooter

'tis a shame, as they do make some nice and fun limited editions. #cycling #BikeTooter@pete We had a friend visiting who brought an electric Brompton with him and I thought he’d struggle on the hilly rural road ride we went on but he was fine. Might be tempted if I had the cash but have never liked the look of them. The electric version is pretty heavy so not incredibly portable but nice to have something you can put in the car boot

️@CloudsGoBy I regret letting the one I had when my commute suited it go. I mean it's not like it took up much space! Even the non leccy version is pretty heavy but they're great fun to ride.

@pete Never tried one - they don’t look all that comfortable. Maybe when we get the big win on the premium bonds. Trouble is, I already have a lot of things on my list in anticipation…
