I wish I could block hashtags on pixelfed. What moves me in art is someone's creativity, their expression, and sometimes (for photos) the dumb luck of being in the right place and the right time with their finger on the shutter. It's about capturing the moment, not generating it deterministically. The ability to reproduce moments at will takes the wonder out of them.

Every blue moon, meaning about four times over ten years, the black cat will accept a treat from me (not by hand but on the ground) instead of requiring it to be in her food bowl. It’s a gesture of extreme trust, as she appears to believe strongly that food outside her bowl is meant to poison her. Most other times she will sniff it but politely decline.

I discontinued paying for an app, because their monthly login expiration was more annoying than the ads I was paying to remove. That whole login-in-the-browser-and-redirect-to-the-app thing doesn't work very well when you lock down your browser.
