I was shocked to discover one of my "recent" domain name acquisitions was actually eleven years old. I think of it as recent because someone else owned it for a good number of years when I had the bright idea to get it with the other names for .net, .org and .com. Eventually, they abandoned it, and I snapped it up. Apparently that was a lot longer ago than I remembered.
