My SSDI appeal is still ongoing; I am currently waiting for the Appeals Council to hear my latest appeal of the denial of my previous appeal. The case is currently in limbo. A successful appeal would significantly increase my monthly benefit payments when I enter SS-R, so I'm going all in on this. Cross your fingers, please. A far better solution is to have a separate, kids-friendly space online, freed of perpetrators of not only problematic racist/misogynist/directly harm-inducing speech, but also targeted advertising and scraping of personal information that can be abused for "grooming" for illegal and otherwise harmful & abusive acts. The broader adult-oriented spaces can then be cordoned off for adult speech and content, while overtly racist/misogynist speech perpetrators can be exposed & targeted for sanction.
