I've discovered that the new Foundry module Calandaria has UI for entering year names.

There doesn't appear to be any way to make those names show up on the calander itself

But that's not going to stop some hyperfocused doofus from manually entering in the entirety of the Forgotten Realms' known named years

Did some story brainstorming for Dementlieu in tonight's #Ravenloft #dnd game. They give you so little to work with in the 5e Setting book, so my extrapolations are pretty wild. But I think it'll be fun!

I absolutely believe some of my distrust for LLMs comes from running #DnD games and just seeing some basic behaviours from players.

Every now and then someone pulls out a new or infrequently used ability and I ask 'okay, how does that work?'

I know how it works. I'm looking at their character sheet where it's written down exactly how it works. But the scrambling instinct is to go searching the internet, and they come back with the first thing they read which could be an LLM response or a link to outdated information or homebrew content on some third party site.

Then I right click the ability on their sheet and share it to the in game chat to compare notes.

It's a bean dad approach. But they'll learn.

Collated stuff for Tuesdays meeting, basically a collection of ways "AI" adoption is a threat to our jobs. Gonna participate in a union meeting this week to strategize while businesses are going whole hog into 'AI'. Every day there's some headline or another clearly showing how they royally fuck up everything they touch but it's so much! I need to package up a solid killer handful that I can deliver
