I absolutely believe some of my distrust for LLMs comes from running #DnD games and just seeing some basic behaviours from players.Every now and then someone pulls out a new or infrequently used ability and I ask 'okay, how does that work?'I know how it works. I'm looking at their character sheet where it's written down exactly how it works. But the scrambling instinct is to go searching the internet, and they come back with the first thing they read which could be an LLM response or a link to outdated information or homebrew content on some third party site.Then I right click the ability on their sheet and share it to the in game chat to compare notes.It's a bean dad approach. But they'll learn.
