    After numerous trials I’ve finally found a mask that works for me on my CPAP. According to the machine I clocked 7 hrs sleep last night. I feel like a new woman!! Plus I haven’t had one fibromyalgia flare since being on the CPAP. According to my doctor they’re finding people who have fibromyalgia might actually have sleep apnea. #CPAP #Sleep #Fibromyalgia

      @Pinchy63
      Hi.
      My son also use cpap and was sad he could only lie on one side otherwise the mask fell of, so we took the tube and liftet it with a string, so now the tube follow the mask when he turn his head, and seldom leaks.

        @Pinchy63 A question. I found you when I made a search for fibromyalgia. I got the diagnosis last Wednesday. Do you know if there are some good groups I can contact?
        I'm totally new with the diagnosis, even though I know the daily pain all too well 😂

          Unfortunately no, I don’t know of any groups. Wish I’d did. My doctor is my only source of information. Good luck on your journey. I hope it works fast for you. I’m still struggling with the blast of air when I stop breathing. Ugh. 😩

            @Pinchy63 If you succeed, you'll be one of the cool people. One doctor I spoke with told me that only about 50 percent will come to like living with their CPAP, so I'm voting for you.

              Ah thank you! I’ve been on it for months now. Some days are better than others. I hope it works for you too. Did your doctor advise you to wear the mask around before using it with the machine? Helps with desensitization. That was a game changer for me.

                It's my son using the mask.
                And because he never stops breathing, but never breathes deeply during the first part of the night, we spoke with the doctor, and got permission to stop using it every night after 4 to 5 hours of use.
                It helps him, but he dislikes using the CPAP.

                  Tell your son he’s not alone. I’m averaging about 3-4 hrs a night. I despise it but I’ve had two night of 7-8 hrs of sleep so I chase that high every night.
