        @hannaB I always thought they were from Poland. My dad used to make them at home ages ago and he was the one that inspired this article. He was a 4th generation Brit with polish and Ukrainian ancestry

          @janettespeyer That's a lovely personal connection to the food. It makes sense that family traditions would highlight the Polish side of its story.
