I do actively seek out new music.
And I know I’m in the relative minority at 40, but I wondered by how much.

(Because I can only make 4-choice polls here)@mattgrayyes I am 60 and I am constantly checking out newer music and musicians. Recently went to my 40th high school reunion and when it was being planned the organisers said they would make sure the place played 80s music and I said “can they not?” 🤪

My friendgroup has a way different taste, album reviews are something that I stumble upon randomly on the internet and it usually misses my taste and the streaming service's algorithm is not good enough. How do you all find new artists?

@gormster @mattgrayyes My thoughts exactly. For me it also comes in waves, sometimes I go weeks without looking for anything new and then it's all the new things at once
