I do actively seek out new music.
And I know I’m in the relative minority at 40, but I wondered by how much.

(I’ve got 2 album mini reviews, an ep mini review and two gigs that I keep meaning to blog about. I feel like I've found some new music I like from artists I didn't already know, but at most, by vague searches in the youtubes, or by acknowledging when the algorithms find me something.

My friendgroup has a way different taste, album reviews are something that I stumble upon randomly on the internet and it usually misses my taste and the streaming service's algorithm is not good enough. How do you all find new artists?

@gormster @mattgrayyes My thoughts exactly. For me it also comes in waves, sometimes I go weeks without looking for anything new and then it's all the new things at once
