@Nonilex I guess jd vance will now attack the catholic faith as anti American. It would fit with his stance that allowing non Christian, non European immigrants into usa dilutes and weakens the culture of usa.
(Note, he is a catholic convert whose Hindu wife's parents immigrated. He is serving a man he once called America's Hitler. His campaigns were all funded by a man who wants to destroy democracy.)

@Nonilex So was Jesus. Given how conservative Catholics are and the number of tRump voters that may well be turned off by taking on the Pontiff, the spiritual descendant of St. Peter and a tough Chicagoan to boot, it seems like this boorishness and grandiosity would knock down his 30% a bit
