    @eclectech Tell me you're from the UK without telling me you're from the UK.

      @eclectech a grocery store near me has an aisle sign for "international tomato", to which I always mentally add "of mystery"

        @eclectech coincidentally our cupboards ARE free from jelly AND custard. Can’t stand the stuff 😂

          @eclectech@things.uk
          they also misspelled "freeform" the only category that makes sense of grouping jelly with custard - items of ambiguous and constantly changing shape - without any of the other ingredients required to make trifle.

            @ravenbait I know right! I don't think I've ever seen a jelly & custard aisle before. It felt niche 😆

            @eclectech @ravenbait Have to say as a Brit abroad the idea of a jelly and custard aisle sounds exciting. 🤣 I’m kind of hoping that the icecream section is also not too far away.

              @eclectech I misread that as "FreeForm" and was interested to see what trifles they had comitted

                @eclectech to re-use my own joke from a few days ago, it’s a trifle bazaar

                  @eclectech By that logic, the sausage section should be the 'ass and gristle ' department
