@mynameistillian I use and like Fedora, myself. For me, it balances ease of use with advanced features for the mainstream Linux user quite well.
Though I am considering a switch to OpenSuSE, which is basically the European equivalent of Fedora, because I'm working to reduce my reliance on American tech.

The former is anti-capitalist, the latter is anti- people who don't have the privilege of choosing their desktop environment (or have to choose based on factors like accessibility, and can't find a single Linux distro that's actually accessible to them). @hipsterelectron @raphaelmorgan @flesh @dwaynemonroe i appreciate that you care. those are real things. the problem is however the software i need (and trained to use) for my college work and other stuff isn't yet available on linux platforms and attempts to run it have so far proven futile. i am not a fan of windows, but i can't ditch it right now as of yet. if it is of any consolation i don't pay for anything microsoft does, i pirated that stuff and torn away all telemetry.

@hipsterelectron @raphaelmorgan @flesh @dwaynemonroe and the issue is the problem that linux techbros on here (note i say techbros specifically, not regular foss folk) act like the mere act of using linux or even linux distros they consider good makes them a better layer of society than others.
