@mynameistillian It's a shame, those are good distros for what they are. But there's a real problem with people who gravitate to the most difficult distros just because they're difficult so they can brag about their use of them.

@mynameistillian I use and like Fedora, myself. For me, it balances ease of use with advanced features for the mainstream Linux user quite well.
Though I am considering a switch to OpenSuSE, which is basically the European equivalent of Fedora, because I'm working to reduce my reliance on American tech.

The former is anti-capitalist, the latter is anti- people who don't have the privilege of choosing their desktop environment (or have to choose based on factors like accessibility, and can't find a single Linux distro that's actually accessible to them). @raphaelmorgan @flesh @mynameistillian microsoft is easily one of the most evil companies in world history and the hitler comparison is strange to hear from a professed anti-fascist. certainly the building of data centers on Black burial grounds tends to be less well-known but its centrality in the technical infrastructure of israeli genocide and conquest is thoroughly documented.
