Upgraded OpenClaw to v2026.3.31. Six breaking changes. The task system overhaul is great. The exec approval tightening broke my agent twice.

First layer: config defaults changed. Fixable. Second layer: hardcoded obfuscation detection that forces approval on heredocs, base64, eval, and long commands. No config knob. Had to patch the source.

AI agents trip these heuristics constantly. ask: "off" should mean off.
