What options do I have, if I want an operating system and software that won't take a dependency on nondeterministic, proprietary generators?

@mhoye among TempleOS, CollapseOS, and ReactOS, I think the latter comes out as the winner

but yeah, if Debian refuses to take the Debian Social Contract seriously then we badly need a fork that does

@mhoye I think one or two of the BSDs are about it at this point. I'd say Alpine or Chimera, but they use the linux kernel and the linux kernel is now accepting slop.

Maybe Haiku or ... the rust OS the name of which I can never remember?

What options do I have, if I want an operating system and software that won't take a dependency on nondeterministic, proprietary generators?

@mhoye Gentoo or Alpine with OpenRC. It's possible to use it with Arch too, but you're on your own
