I do not use AI at all, at any stage of writing my books.

@golgaloth what does that code do? I'm not super familiar with those things so I'd love to know, also amazing game director, I've been wanting demonschool for a while and that might just be the reason I buy it.

@criticalbackend It removes AI from search results - there are a few bits on the internet telling you how to implement it in your search engine.

@golgaloth &udm=14 means… you’re still putting yourself under Google surveillance, and still let Google manipulate you. It hints Google not to produce slop confabulations (good), but it won’t stop Google from producing “search results” that are pages produced by a slop engine.
You probably know this, and I know, preaching to the choir. Yet still, some may not be aware that a web used to exist outside of Google, Meta etc., and that some viable remnant of that still exists.

@golgaloth don't use it at all in my software development or search engine usage either

@golgaloth I just spent like 10 minutes trying to find this source, but I can't, but I want to share context with some people. I only find Necrosoft saying they would rather cut off their own arms than use AI so I think the results are filled with the older stuff, so asking.

Also, there are other search engines.

(But, as you mentioned, people are filling the internet with Generative AI slop. There's no easy way to avoid that problem.)
