@irgndsondepp thanks! By far the heaviest part is the battery which was completely overkill. I didn’t even use up 1/4 of it in 3-4 hours. In a next iteration I’ll add a pouch that attaches to the waistband of the skirt with a battery holder and change a bit the length of the band, add some internal wiring to it. And a lighter power source, this is what I had in the house. But I’m waiting for a sewing machine to arrive now haha. I danced in it fine at the festival I was at, but it did require a bit of care.
