@jblue I'd add Sweet Potatoes to this list if your climate is warm enough. Both the leaves and tubers are edible and the yield per "slip" planted (baby plant) is good.

@WriteDragon yes! I have sweet potatoes but this is just plants that are ready to harvest now. I read in a science article that sweet potato greens have the most nutrition in late September where they traditionally grown.

@jblue We harvest them when they are very small (therefore tender and lighter flavored, lightly stir-fried like spinach), a few at a time per vine so as not to stress the plant. I'd not heard that about September.
