1. Three different TYPES of owls showed themselves on the drive today!!
Normal number of owls seen on a drive: 0. Number today: 6!!
There were 4 Short-eared Owls, 1 Great Gray Owl, and 1 Northern Pygmy Owl. One of the short-eared owls posed for us.
Wow!! Just wow.
2. We made it to our more than halfway point by a reasonable bedtime hour and are tucked in cozily.
3. All are in good charity with each other after several days of this trip. Yay!
