@moira I feel like using a chemist warehouse receipt for a stock image is a terrible idea.
Admittedly, their business model is mostly selling non-pharmaceuticals, so maybe it's just a receipt for perfume or something

Library books or books borrowed from friends: mark page with scrap paper or receipts
My own personally owned books: book open upside down if briefly interrupted mid-read, or dogeared page if setting aside book for later
Yes, I misuse my own books barbarously, but at least I follow civilized custom with books that are not mine!
