New #YEGmusic venue opened up this month, Club 97 in the Quarters area of Edmonton (1 block east of Churchill Square, a spot most recently occupied by Brittany's Lounge).I heard about it Sunday from a young woman who is organizing multi-disciplinary art nights there (performance + visual arts). And then today @apaulagetics shared the monthly community newsletter with an article & profile:https://bmcnews.org/story/club-97-enters-the-quartersI haven't yet found a website or even a IG/FB account for them yet, so the article is all the info I know. Monday night jazz jam will be a nice addition to a mostly empty night on my weekly music listings.
