At Unbound on Sunday Apr 26, Chronos presents a program of works that highlight new - and Canadian - choral music.The ensemble is busy rehearsing: here is a clip from Edge of Dawn by Nicholas Ryan Kelly.Using text from Lola Ridge, the text takes us to the moment dawn starts to break and the natural world slowly comes alive. Themed around resilience, this piece looks to nature's persistence and irrepressible life as inspiration in tough times.Nicholas was the winner of Chronos' first Composition Competition in 2017, and his work "You Speak Violets" commissioned by the ensemble in 2021 will also be featured on this program.Join us on Sunday at 7:30 to hear the rest!
