That said, I can understand why someone may want to defederate with poa.st or nicecrew.digital as their users tend to make up the majority of the caustic material coming from those instances.That said, I wouldn't have been fair to @niggy@poa.st or @scenesbycolleen@poa.st for example to defederate poa.st as they're some of the most unusually wholesome people from there. Used to think the same about one particular user in nicecrew.digital until I heard that they were a journalist using the support they got from fringe communities to get replacement teeth while writing an expose on them. Haven't had the time to look into the validity of that, though. Though position on that matter aligns with your own, that incidents which occur should be handled on a case-by-case basis rather than dismissively attribute it to an entire demographic.Y'know, I don't doubt that most people would have been of the same opinion at some point but have since given up on trying to reason with bad actors wasting time by acting without good faith or intentions.@xaetacore @FediTips@social.growyourown.services
