@stux I lived for 10 years on “the peninsula” south of San Francisco ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francisco_Peninsula ) operating solely by bike, bus and train.Many American cities are designed in ways where it’s not only inconvenient but nearly impossible to operate without out a car an not lose 3-4 days per day to spotty bus service.These things are deliberate choices by city planners, but it’s still possible to operate without a car! ️️️

@675345456754334566664wFor so long I have thought that when I see the paintings which show certain things looking so perfect, flora and fauna, and then when I look at the things in Canada, I just assumed that the paintings were surrealist.The reality is that those thing look exactly like the paintings, for example the deer and the mushrooms. We just don't have them like that here, and I know why Europe is cherished.
