@Chancerubbage I occasionally work with an younger engineer who's first language is Vietnamese, second language is Mandarin, and third language is English—which he learned in China, so in his mind English kind of first translates to Chinese, then to Vietnamese, and the process reverses on the way out. He's great.Anyway: a couple years ago we had a really funny moment with "aux" buses (which he was refering to collectively as "oxen") and confusion over the Universal Audio "Ox" box (which is a high-end reactive load/IR/etc. system for guitar amps.) Eighth-inch stereo connectors never game up, though: feels like a missed opportunity.
