    @croyle @kd6nfd I attribute my success in my career as an IT consultant to owning a TRS-80 as a teen…. Because there was practically no software for it, and no local user group. Anything I wanted it to do, I had to write myself. I wrote a (terrible) word processor, learned how to interact with the printer directly, made a (terrible) painting program that used the joystick to move the cursor and change the colour of a square…My friends all had the C64, and the only thing they ever did with them is play games and pirate software.
