Last night's results. This is a faint emission nebula that's a challenging target to image. I'll need some more imaging time on this one. The Elephant's Trunk Nebula (IC 1396A) is a concentration of gas and dust within a larger gas region about 2,400 light years away from Earth. @skull I did a channel combo on RGB and when the result and Ha was still in linear form, performed a pixelmath on the red channel using $T * 0.5 + Ha * 0.5 formula, followed by color calibration afterwards.
